Return & Refund Policy

At KATRIEA KAJI, we want every piece to feel right. If your purchase is not the right fit, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below.

Returns

To request a return, please contact us at atelier@katrieakaji.com with your order number and reason for return.

Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with the return instructions.

Items should be returned in their original condition, with:

Original tags attached
Original packaging
No signs of washing, damage or wear beyond reasonable inspection and fitting

Please try on garments only as you would in a store. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and fit of the garment.

Return Shipping

For returns within Europe, KATRIEA KAJI covers the cost of return shipping.

For returns from outside Europe, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

The original standard delivery cost will be refunded where required by applicable consumer law. Additional costs for a premium or express delivery option are not refundable.

Exchanges & Alterations

If your piece does not fit exactly as expected, please contact us before returning it.

Where possible, we may offer an alteration to adjust the piece to your measurements.

If you prefer to exchange the item for another size, we can arrange an exchange subject to availability.

Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Where required by applicable law, refunds will be made within the applicable statutory timeframe. We may withhold the refund until the returned item has been received or you have provided evidence that it has been sent back.

Private Tailoring

Private Tailoring pieces are created according to the customer's individual measurements, requirements and specifications.

Because these pieces are individually made or personalised, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal may not apply.

However, if you have any concerns about the fit, finish or conformity of your Private Tailoring piece, please contact us at atelier@katrieakaji.com. We will discuss the situation with you and, where appropriate, arrange an alteration or another suitable solution.

Your statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or you believe your item has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us at atelier@katrieakaji.com as soon as possible and include your order number and photographs of the issue.

We will review the situation with you and arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
